Jamie Lennon

I recently went back to the Georgette Jones album 'Strong Enough To Cry'.
When I first bought it, I thought some of the songs were distinctly 'cheesy' (lyrically, anyway) and I still think that on re-listening.

BUT - what I hadn't taken cognizance of (there's a great word, Donny) was Jamie Lennon's steel playing. It is tremendous - beautiful tone and clarity, highly original and a great example of the modern steel guitar. Perfectly complements the songs and fellow musos (and no cheese on the psg, I might add!)

If you haven't heard it, I recommend it highly.
