This is where you can rest a while and discuss anything - doesn't have to be steel guitar related!

A little piece of ... well history perhaps!

New roads are music to our ears when finished but not so much when their under construction!

My 'day time' job is photography only it turned into a 'night time' job recently, when the client called I asked when the job had to be done he said, in two days and between midnight and 5.00am, great I thought!

Anyway it turned out to be the lowering of concrete beams to form a bridge on a new intersection of our motorway system, some of you will by now have driven over it!

So just for general interest and because Donny who knew I had done the job asked me about it the other day I thought I would share a couple of pics in [steel guitar cafe] and hope I don't get slapped on the wrist by the client or the Scottish Office!!

So if this post disappears you will know why!

38 metres long and 90 tons a piece, trucked up from Yorkshire, hence the midnight time-slot!

Check out that harness in pic three and we think we have weight issues with PSGs..

Hats off to these guys.. to get a precision fit on something so enormous is clever work! Roadworks to us all represents frustration but there are skills here that are simply outstanding and we take them all for granted!

West to East you will drive under this shortly, remember where you saw it first!!
