Me too John!!!

I have many fav. moments behind the camera at your meetings!

Fond of this DH upload as He and John split it well!

Some of DH's best playing was on that Rains and the the blue D10 (just IMHO) of course

As for John ... was that a crisp Tele or what?? !!!

******************************************************************************************************

When I'm free to travel again JD we must have a Gt Barford Bash in memory of 'Big John' ...........we had some awesome times down to you!! Thank you!

Let's not forget our Eric Snowball and our much loved Jimmy Martin, I miss him belting it out on that White Carter even if you had to hold back his enthusiasm
now and then!

So to the former attendees! ... Mr...... Hartley / Thurlby / Kirk / Dunn / Burton / Bartholomew / Pritchard / Mr Nesbitt! from the ISGA and and!!

Joined I would hope by the troops from London, the South West and North East & West! ... expect a call at some date in the future! .........

As for the SSGW ... we might hire a learjet and come down join you!

No pecking order just a 'blast of a bash'! And bollocks to tickets and badges Ron and Margret McLaren will handle all that at the door with their usual aplomb! :guitar: :

If you're legit and family you'll get in ............. if not ..we'll put the heid on you!.......... Simples!

John was our very own stonking honky-tonk Tele picker, as country as they come. What a player. They do say the good die young, it's unfortunately true. RIP John.
