Parting is such sweet sorrow.

Well that's what they say. I have decided (due to my hearing being so bad and getting worse) to sell my MCI S10. This is a really lovely guitar, the nicest thing I have ever played, well along side the BenRom I had. I have spent time and money on this guitar changing the original aluminium changer fingers for brass chrome plated fingers which sound great. Of course the original fingers come with it, a bit of cleaning up and maybe anodising they too will last for ever. I have put a George L PF pick up on and added a fifth knee lever to lower the 6th string to F#. It is currently Day setup but this guitar is so easy to change to Emmons or any other setup you require. The case is in very good (not perfect) condition. MCI guitars are quite sort after so considering the work I have done and considering what other people are asking for guitars nowhere near as good as this I think £1400 is a fair price. Cheers Dave. More pics to follow.

Ken and Malcolm I really appreciate your support and as i said I think I am asking a fair price considering the guitar is in virtually new condition. I am prepared to do any changes that a potential purchaser requires.Considering the price of steel guitars these days. Eg., GFI student, 3+4 pull release, £1600. Ok I'm not saying they are not a good guitar but really, can you compare it with an MCI. Like Ken said MCI's have a beautiful tone and all I can say is if you at all interested come over and try it out and if you can honestly tell me you think it's crap I'll pay your petrol money. Steel guitars are only going to get more and more expensive so think about it. Cheers Dave.

Ok this is just a reminder that this guitar is still for sale. There is no way I am going to reduce the price because I reckon it is worth every penny of the asking price. If you disagree just look at ebay??? This really is a beautiful guitar, you only have to look at the videos, (not saying the playing is good but the tone etc.,] Anyway while the pound is weak you will never get a guitar as good as this for this price. I just looked on the US forum and there is one the same as mine for$1800 which at the current rate of exchange is £1500 plus then you would have transport + taxes + VAT. Ah! so what, it's here if you want it.

I have been contacted on Facebook by a guy who paid £1500 for a Sho~Bud Maverick. Go figure. By that standard, Dave's guitar is worth £4K!!!
