Mental note to self; One must sport one's monocle when perusing postings, in order to avoid spurious ejaculations!

Sorry Jif, what a Dunderheid!

A big thank you to all of the lads for the warm welcome tonight. I played more bummers tonight than I have in the last year I think, but I still enjoyed it. I have to give a special word to Danny Mitchell. He has obviously been working very hard, and has improved immensely since I heard him last September. There is no substitute for hard work. Davie Holland was very impressive, and a nice guy with it. Donny announced that he and Willie have been asked to play again at the Irish Show in October, so fair play to them. That is an honour.

Good to see Geoff Noble there with his beautiful MSA, and Bob Adams had a superb Lacquer body Emmons push pull.

There has been a lot of woodshedding going on as the general standard of all of the players has gone up. So - thanks again folks for making an old Sassenach welcome to your evening. :D ;)

Ken, the pleasure was all ours, I enjoyed your playing a great deal. I agree with you about Danny, He is coming on leaps and bounds
It was a tough night with 4 tunes and all, especially if like me you hadn't practiced them, but it will all work out well when Donny buys me my nice new shiny laptop
Good to see you again Ken
