That was a very moody intro. As I watched you chugging that beer I didn't know what to expect

Junior Hicken's back pickin':guitar: :guitar: :guitar: and with some very nifty bar work. What a beautiful guitar Steven, that I'm sure will inspire and bring you many years of pleasure. Your old man's not half bad, too :D
Great post.

Thanks Danny!
I took a real risk in putting a proper cinematic intro into a steel video, I wanted something to change things up and draw interest from the viewers! I took inspiration from the film Every Which Way But Loose and then an old Formula 1 PS1 game from the 90's as well as the big YouTubers' methods of showcasing their new cars and flash apartments. In this case it worked, which I'm glad. I got 2 dislikes on YouTube 1 after the other after about 15 minutes of posting it which actually made me laugh because I knew other than the troll angle it was probably the intro.

The Show Pro is an absolute beast to look at, to listen to and to play!

Thanks for the compliments on both of our playing and also the video as a whole!
Kind Regards, Steven Hicken Jr.

I remember offering you advice, about 12 months ago, to improve your blocking.

Your blocking has definitely improved, probably because you have had more practice time, but I will still take some credit, however unjustified, for your improved playing :D

Nice to see you on the Show Pro Steven. They have such full tone. You will find that the guitar will inspire you to go on and improve your playing. Jeff S. asked me if I know you when I saw him a few days ago. I said that I didn't know you, but that I was pleased you are one of the younger set in the UK who is flying the flag for steel guitar, and indeed you are a part of the future.

I look forward to seeing your development with interest. :D

Thanks Ken! The Show Pro is out of this world, a world beater. As you stated last year Show Pro steels are brilliant and I can only thankyou by giving me the information to get one over hear. I needed little persuasion once I knew what I was doing as I have loved Show Pros since I started on that old Carter Starter. For you to say those final comments is an honor from you!

Lol Richard I'll let you take the credit, spring man.
Cheers for the compliments!
