TODAY'S UPDATE ....saw a young lady Italian Neuro Surgeon at Queen's hospital, and she spent alot of time with me, she even showed me my CT scan and yes, as I thought it is another Meningioma tumour....the blessing is that it is smaller than the one I had removed in 1993. For some medical reason they will have to cut along the old scar, and if my skull is too damaged being opened again, they will use some tough plastic and pull my skin flap over it at the end of the operation. She did stress that the AAA Aneurysm MUST be done first, unlike what that "Twat" side kick Surgeon who said "Brain op first" as it could be cancer!!....She was appalled when I told her about his comments. takes all sorts don't it !!!!!

Mickey, it's bad enough going through this once, but I can't begin to imagine how you are feeling second time around. Hang in there buddy, we are all praying for you.

Here is a section of email that Micky sent me this morning. That boy sure doesn't get his fair share of good luck. I just hope and pray that he gets through the latest trials and tribulations. He has been a good mate to some of us for nigh on 40 years.

....................not doing too good mate. I'm waiting to have the Aortic aneurysm repaired, then recover from that ....then have my second brain tumour a "Meningioma" removed. I just feel like a walking time bomb...it's not a nice feeling I can promise you that. One thing that consoles me when I look back is that I've had 17 years I would not have had if I didn't have a donor...... I literally had a few months to live, my heart was shot to pieces.

You look after that heart of yours Ken. Take the meds, and just don't overdo things. I guess I am your "old" mate as you signed off. I'll be 70 in December...with a 56 year old heart. Jonathan my donor would have been that age had he lived on. He passed away at 39 years old...Brain dead after a car accident. Life can be so cruel.
