Danny, you could go as well as official carrier of Ken's wallet, which as the rate of exchange has fallen will now require him to take a much larger one, which at his age means there is no way he can carry it by himself.

Got an email from Mr Tommy White this morning. He suggested that we meet up for lunch when I'm in Nashville next month. It took me 2 nanoseconds to respond to that one!

It will be nice to talk to him about his career and everything. My ideal lunch party? Tommy, Lloyd, Mike Johnson and Buck Reid. I can dream can't I.

Unfortunately have had to cancel my trip to Dallas show, suffering from a sinus infection which could produce severe earache or damage to ears if I fly, so absolutely gutted about missing Mike Johnson perform at show, and even worse will miss Mr Bling buying a round of drinks, last time he got us a drink by the time it was my turn for the straw the drink was finished.

You should have flown Mr McMiser - your playing may have sounded better when you got home. I'm looking forward to some warmer weather and clocking some of the new developments in steel guitar land. Paddy Long and I will have your share of the drinks that we would have bought you. I am told that the last time you bought a drink, Harold McMillan was prime Minister!!

I'm off to the Holiday Inn at Heathrow this evening, so I will be nice and refreshed for my morning flight.
