Anyone of you wise men know who the steelplayer was on the Nashville album Elvis Costello made many years ago and do you know anything about him?

I think it was John McFee - used to be in the Doobie Brothers

That would have been the album "Almost Blue" and the steel player was John McFee..

Hi Guys
Re the Emmons guitar.....does there seem something unusual about it or am I confusing camera angles...The neck seems set back a lot from the front of the guitar, particularly the wider parts near the bridge. Is it an original Emmons neck...maybe a very early guitar.
