The 5 most performed.

Way To Survive - I must have heard this about 10 times at Dallas this year.

Together Again.

Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain.

Steel Guitar Rag.

I Love You Because.

I hate playing Together Again, as Tom's solo can't be improved on, even by Mr Franklin.

The tune I most love playing is the one I can't quite get right to my satisfaction so I keep going. At the moment its "Girl in the Glass" But then again I am not playing steel at gigs - at least not at the moment.

The one thing that I used to do with a tune if I was getting fed up with it was to try to do it differently. For example "Steel Guitar Rag". Pop up the speed and go for broke improvising - or is that taboo? That kept the interest going especially if you have learnt some new licks.

I remember years ago playing in a pub and someone asked for - you guessed it - "Crystal Chandeliers". I had a very quick word with the band because until that time we would see how long we could go without playing it - and then we kicked off - Reggae style. That please them.
ShoBud 6139 - Remington Steelmaster - George Boards 8 String - Gretsch Country Gent - National Twin 8 Console x 2 - National New Yorker and a shed full of guitars.
