That link maps up 'Duloe Cornwall' John, probably best if' Duloe Village Hall, Staploe ' was googled.

That's because Google takes your location and search history into account when performing a search...so if you're closer to the Duloe result in Staploe than the one in Cornwall, or you've previously searched for the Staploe one, that's why you get that result while others may differ, for exactly the same search.

The best way to share a Google map is to click on the gear icon in the lower right corner, then get the share link from there. That will ALWAYS give the result as the map you're looking at, e.g. https://goo.gl/maps/oUDY3

John - you spoke about round robins. Was there any pre event swatting to do?

Mick, that's a good point, never really considered it before I guess because it is not the way I tackle the job of playing, will try to explain.......
If you put in the seat time, learn the basic chord positions up and down the neck and are fluid with moving between them IMHO you should be able to play some acceptable noise to just about any three chorder country standard toon and, as your ear develops, the melody line will appear to you even more so when you find the chord that most lends itself to that melody line.
This will not work with just any toon, its aimed more at beginners but simple toons yes.... ;)
Not a very subtle approach to learning to play and probably incorrect but any "help" I give has always carried a guv. health warning.
For those that want to, and can shine on their own with a particular number.... bring your track and play we wanna hear it!!
There will be a mini disc player into the PA or you can plug your own device into it.

Re. round robin, No pressure, No intimidation any ones "have a go" attitude welcomed and encouraged :) but if you don't fancy it just nod it on to the next bloke.

Not sure if there is a "somebody " out there at this time Bob ,,,,,, and a further setback is there is a 50/50 chance our lead guitarist with the Alabama Hayriders may not be able to make it  and I was hoping they would all be there to play at about 1-30pm still, 4/5ths of them is better than nothing and I could bring my old Telecaster with me if anyone knows how to work it ??????????????????????????????????

Cannot get despondent about little setbacks, after all its a steelies meeting so, will leave more room for the steelies to play....
