Yes Billy - sad news. He spent his latter years in Bournemouth and from some accounts, sadly had a severe alcohol problem.

He was a talented man.

I hated the punk rock era of 77/78, and i hated the disco era of 76/78, but what a joy it was in 1978 to hear Gerry Rafferty singing Baker street, R.I.P. Gerry

Great loss

I still play the City to City LP and my favourite is not Baker Street but "Right down the line".
