I would like to add a big plus one and thank John too!
He showed me the ropes and let me sit at all four of the steels he had in whilst supplying me with black coffee (my preference... definitely not his!) and a great ham sandwich. In the end after talking him near to death and asking far too many n00b questions (I'm prone to doing that) I left with a very pretty Blonde Sho-Bud s10 and have been (very) gradually making sense of it in the time since.
...and just when he thought he'd gotten rid of me he even generously re-set it up for me the following weekend as I committed the ultimate betrayal by opting for an Emmons pedal setup... (my disproportionately long legs seem to prefer moving that way).
Thanks again John!
Stephen
