Long life pot (at last)

Postby Ken Byng » Wed Jul 20, 2011 9:30 pm

For those of us who own pot type volume pedals, a new pot has been developed by Canadian company PEC. They have been making pots for a long time, but they were notoriously short lived. Now they have developed a new audio taper 500K model called the HL (High Life), and is marketed by Goodrich. Info can be found http://www.tonetronix.com/pc/Goodrich-500K-Volume-Potentiometer-Pot/Goodrich-Volume-Pedals/Goodrich-Volume-Pedals.html

Very clean lines Ken if it performs as well as it looks it will be the biz! I noticed Gerry gives it a mention on his site.

Is there anywhere in the UK we can buy these, the P&P from the US is about double the actual cost of the pot!

Geoff, if there are any of these pots at the Dallas show, I'll buy a couple and bring them back to Blighty for anyone here who is interested. I will charge whatever they cost me plus p&p. ;)
