I think I am right in saying that Lloyd wrote this number ("The White Light") over 20 years ago for the St Louis steel guitar show.
Lloyd is currently a full time carer for his wife Dot, who is not a well lady. He told me in an email some time ago that he was still brewing up some new original things, even though his session work was mainly confined to the core of East Nashville singer/songwriters.
Re Dave Seddon's challenge for someone to try to emulate this number, I think it's possible to get close to it, but I can hear some bar slants being used throughout which makes it difficult to unlock unless one knows the slants, strings and frets that they were used on. I might make a try when I have a day free.
