2) I Threw Away The Rose for E9 tuning. Key of G. Tablature, instruction, played once through by Mike, then backing tracks so you have a go at it.
If you are not familar with these instruction/tab CDs from Mike, I can say they are excellent. The tablature is clear, Mike talks you though a section at a time and plays it for you, telling you what to do and how to play; it's like having him sitting next to you. Then he plays the whole song with the band, and last but not least there are the backing tracks only so you can play along. The band is professional. You end up learning to play the song bit by bit and will be amazed how much info you pick up along the way. works best with 3 + 4 set up.
3) Go Rest High On That Mountain Key of D.
This is tablature and backing tracks only, no talking you through with Mike.
Mike plays the song once through (5 lovely minutes of sweet steel), you follow the tablature, then there is the backing tracks so you can play it. It's a beautiful arrangement as well, one of the best I've heard.
Most of you will know this Vince Gill song and be able to work your way through it without Mike talking you through it. Especially after learning the first two!
All the arrangements are great, tablature is clear and precise, worth every penny and you'll end up a better player.
