More sad news - Dicky Overbey (R.I.P) 4.10.14

Just read on the U.S Forum that steel legend Dicky Overbey has been moved to a hospice and been given days/ hours to live.
A truly great steel player.

That is tragic news. He is one of the all time great player of slow songs. He plays heartbreaker solos, and with as much soul as the late, great Jimmy Day. This is very sad news indeed.

Was on the US forum today, sadly it looks like we're about to lose one of my favourite players.

Just saw on Facebook that Dicky Overbey has passed away.So sorry to hear this ,never got the opportunity to see live, but was one of my favourite players.Will be sadly missed by all in the steel world.My thoughts are with his Family.
