my god burt that was fantastick mate if you reckon i put you on the road to some of that then where the hell have i gone wrong and to have such comments from the great basil hanriques and bob adams such great feel i,ll be listening a lot more often in future,great dick the brick from the shrewsbury by pass.

Thanks Dick, you pointed me in the right direction all those years ago.

I had been 'playing' pedal steel for about 3 years, and I decided that I was proficient enough to start teaching others.
I put up a notice in the local music shop, and got a phone call some time later from a Welsh guy who was working on a new bypass in my town.

He set up his lovely red ZB and a Session 500 in my dining room, and it quickly became apparent that the teacher/pupil relationship had reversed
