Just to keep on topic. I eventually bought a Goodrich 120L VP when I bought the Carter U12, as Malcolm indicated the Dunlop was too high to get the lever action I needed. It worked OK with the GFI student, pity though I really liked the action and feel of the Dunlop, very smooth action compared to the Goodrich. Getting used to it now though.

I still intend to come along to one of the Scottish steelies nights, unfortunately I had a bit of a traumatic start to the year which I'm just now recovering from, so everything has been on hold. Starting to get a grip now so maybe later in the year.
