New Show-Pro arrived in Northern Ireland

Postby Ted Nesbitt » Fri Aug 15, 2014 12:48 pm

My good friend Johnson Curran has just taken delivery of his new Show-Pro Lloyd Green model.
I gave it a "Road Test" this morning, and I must say I was very impressed. Tone is superb, pedal
and k/lever action is beautiful. And, it looks a Million dollars. I hope you have many years of playing pleasure
with your new guitar Johnson.

Yeah, but what about the end plates Ted? Don't let The Driver anywhere near it.

I am a little biased, but to me my Show Pro has a tone that none of my other guitars have. The marriage of Show Pro guitar and Lawrence 710 pickups is one made in heaven. Even my push pull, which admittedly has its own unique tone hasn't quite got the rich body of my Show Pro. I'm just playing my Show Pro Ken Byng through the new Telonics amp and it's just knocking me right out. I hope Johnson remains happy with it for many years.

Hi,
What is that Fender amp you are putting it through?
Is it a new Blackface Twin Reissue -looks the part to me -classic combination .Have you played regular 6string electric through it as well.Regards Dave.
