If you ever listened to Buzz Evans play steel guitar or 6 string electric the man is amazing, but a stroke could hit any of us and in Buzz`s case it has affected his eyes. I have loved his playing ever since I heard his recording of "My Mothers Eyes" and the you tube six string rendition of The Beatles "Yesterday" Check him out and give yourselves a treat!

There is a benefit organised for him that I would surely go to If, it was this side of the pond, but as its not and times are hard all I can do is $50 in the pot.......

I made a donation a couple of days ago. I spent an evening with Buzz in Austin in 2009, and he was a very funny man. One of the best musicians I have ever come across.

An amazing player on steel and 6 string. Met him on two occasions in Las Vegas. He and his buddy Ron has a 2 piece band
playing at a casino on the Boulder Highway outside Vegas. Class act.

Thanks for bringing this up John. I did what I could manage. I've been watching Buzz since I found 'youtube' on this confounded Laptop thingy. A real pro in every sense. That ending on Somewhere Over The Rainbow, OUCH!!! Hurts my knuckles just watching Someday,maybe, NOT!!! ====Baz
