Hi Roy, been talking to John Davis, he informs me you are having your Gall Bladder out, well, I had mine done a few years ago just befor they started to do the keyhole op.
I'd seen it done on the TV and asked my surgon if he was doing the keyhole jobby,"Oh no, we don't do that here, we are cut and slash men, we all get in and walk around, and thats what they did, so I have an 8" scar on my tummy.
The deed was done on Monday, I was up to the toilet on Wednesday,(bloody bed pans,no way) home on Sat.
Funny thing was, I didn't go to the loo monday, or tuesday, so in the evening I needed to go bad, so the nurse bought me a bottle, no way could I lay in bed and pee, so when it got dark I used my hand's to lift my legs over the side of the bed and just sat there and tried to P, could'nt do it, so as the ward lights were out I pushed up on my arm's and managed to stand up, but still it would'nt happen, and the wind was blowing a gale outside, the window rattled and took my attention away from the item I was attempting, a whammo, I started to P, and it went on and on, and you know how big thoes bottles are, so i thought, no way am I stopping, even if it goes over the side so I filled it to the brim, and thinking no one had seen me I attempted to put this heavy item on the bedside table, when a little voice said,"We are a clever boy arn't we, scared the cr*p out of me.
She helped me back in bed, and what a relief, better than sex, so go for it Roy, enjoy the couple of days rest but not the hospital food, and see if the doc brings you a little bottle with the stones in, you can plant them in the garden and have a Gall Tree, take care mate, we're thinking of you.
