For a much loved lass in our community!

Postby bob adams » Thu Feb 20, 2014 2:21 am

An urgent request for those in our community who have faith in the power of prayer!

The wife of one of our very well known UK Steelies is currently battling a particularly nasty cancer and in real need of our prayers and support!

The couple (both musicians) are going through it ‘Big Time’ and could use some serious divine intervention! I don’t say this flippantly, I say it with real conviction!

If I am given the ok to Name I will do so but for now your private intervention will be abundantly appreciated!

I've just had the OK on this, The Lady is Carol Kirk, Dave’s wife who most of you know.

The area affected is her mouth, she has had a third of her tongue removed already and is about to have surgery on her neck as a further precaution so you can imagine the distress and discomfort she must be going through. Though they are both very positive and will get through this, since hearing the news I felt compelled to enlist the support of our wider community and assure them both of our ongoing thoughts. Thank you all.

Bob, I don`t have religion, but my thoughts and well wishes are right in there alongside yours at this time of trouble.
