Love watching this thread.Lot's of wisdom from you guys. In my younger days I played with a band who used a 'Bum Note Hat'. If you dropped a clanger you had to wear it through the next two tunes :oops: (it was a black Top hat with the words 'The Bum Note Hat' written in white. I wore that thing so much that when I left they let me keep it. :lol: that was on 6 string. Now I have a pedal steel and don't play out so, all my bummers are secret ;) so far...... :guitar: :guitar:

that bum note hat is a great idea
James Brown as well as Wilson Pickett, & others, used to fine their musicians when they blurped bum notes
1 finger = 5 $
2 fingers = 10 $
& so on
in Jazz one gets paid for playing bum notes
ain't Musik fun ???
