Steel Player Required

Dear Steel Player,

Leyton Sixth Form College is looking for a pedal steel player to join a small professional ensemble playing in a student production of the musical 'The Best Little Whorehouse' in Texas on 13, 14, 15, and 16 November at Leyton Sixth Form College, E10 6EQ. The fee for the project is £500.00 per musician.

The part is fully scored and excellent sight-reading skills are essential.

Applicants should have self-employed status and be able to submit their Unique Tax Reference number on their invoice.

The full rehearsal/performance schedule is as follows:-

Friday 8 November, Room A5, Leyton Sixth Form College
9.00am – 4.00pm Band rehearsal

Wednesday 13 November, Leyton Sixth Form College Theatre
9.00am -12.00pm Band call and sitzprobe
2.00 – 5.30pm Dress rehearsal
7.30pm Performance

Thursday 14 November, Leyton Sixth Form College Theatre
7.30pm Performance

Friday 15 November, Leyton Sixth Form College Theatre
7.30pm Performance

Saturday 16 November, Leyton Sixth Form College Theatre
7.30pm Performance

We are definitely looking for someone who can make all the dates/times rather than use deputising musicians, as changes/additions to the parts are likely to be made during the project.

Must be that time of year Dave, I'm all ready doing the same at Bracknell on th 4.5.6.7.8th but I'm only getting £40 a night, still, It helps the pension and is better than sitting at home.
