John, Do you have Band in a box? Perhaps a backing track at the right tempo might be helpful. Nice work though.
If you want, I can try and rustle something up, backing wise. BIAB plus me on acoustic guitar? Let me know.

Jason

Thanks, Jason. i must admit to not having the first idea about Band in a Box! Is it expensive or difficult to master? I have looked at the web site but couldn't really make a lot of sense of it. Any info would be appreciated.
Regards,
John

it's not the cheapest bit of software by any means, but not as expensive as, say, cubase! for exsample. I'm not sure how much mine was to be honest as it was a christmas prezzie from the wife!
it's quite involved, but in its basic form you pick a style that suits your piece of music, and input the chords you want. There's loads of help in the manual, and on here, plus a whole dedicated section to it on the US forum. I'm not, in all honesty, it's greatest fan, but it's not a bad starting point, backing track-wise.
Other than that, I use a site called Ameritz. Kareoke backing tracks, downloadable for a small fee. Worth a look.
I have a few versions on my BIAB. drop me your email, and a preferred key, and I'll see what I can do

Hi...

Or just search YouTube for your song title adding the word 'KARAOKE' or 'TRACK' to the search.

iTunes is also very good but there is a small download charge between .79p and .99p.

I certainly found a few AMAZING GRACE tracks just now when I looked.
