Malcolm, I know what you are talking about. (Supresses the urge to tease you tit for tat by saying tone alteration is what these pedals do. OOps I just did. :twisted: ) But tone sucking is what all these threads talk about I would imagine. That's what the buffers and line drivers should correct, but it can be a problem across the stringed instrument sector. Fuzzes hate some other pedals for instance. A much greater problem if you wish that liquid pedal steel tone, but less of a problem if you are trying to make it sound like anything except a pedal steel.
BTW Pink plays the country circuit, Floyd(good country name) plays the Western one.

Beside submit button is box that says full editor , press that, it brings up icons. :D

Dear fatcyclist (sorry don't know your name as you have chosen not to tell us ) sure hope they sound better on the country circuit (or western one) than they did on "pop" one , they were never my taste.I think the majority of us on this forum DO want our guitars to sound like pedal steels.
