Nashville 1000 to UK spec??

Postby tonewheelkev » Mon Mar 18, 2013 2:52 pm

Hi People!

Have Peavey Nashville 1000 (USA spec) which requires external transformer/converter to operate on 240v.

Is there a way...simple, and hopefully cheap ( )....of re-wiring the internal USA transformer to use 240v...doing away with the 110:240v converter????

Kev, when the Nashville 100 came on the market, I imported 6 of them. I sent one to Peavey in Corby. and asked
them could they remove the 110 v transformer and replace it with a 230v ...... sorry was the reply, Peavey never
made a 230v version of this transformer, as this amp was made for the North American market only. Best place
to buy a 110 - 230v transformer (Voltage dropper) is Maplins or Ebay.
Good Luck
