Hi Derek, I think I now have a customer for the twelve, he is coming over next week...... Re the diff. I think most established 10 string players (with a few exceptions) find it really difficult to move from a ten to a twelve, but for a beginner I think its the way to go>>>> and have the benefit of the mix of tunings and those nice thicker strings....
Just hard for a 10 string player to adapt..... I guess you have to get used to it.... Eithne says you can get used to hanging....(if you hang long enough )
