For anyone considering a Magnum, I want to say what a great steel they are! I had one for a couple of years and sold it to raise some cash. It was a fantastic sounding instument with the best tuning I have ever had, It hardley ever went out of tune and no cabinet drop that I could detect. It was lighter than most steels because of the technology used in the materials - I believe the rods etc, are made from the same stuff used in making aeroplanes!
