Yes your quite right John, i feel i must issue this disclaimer, no animals, children or women were harmed in the production of this thread, although there is the huge potential for the said steelie to have his Carter sd10 [which was not in its case for the stage managed photo] wrapped around his neck, if Breda sees what i wrote, and it doesn't bare thinking about where the Yamaha drum stool could end up inserted, on a serious note, we have been going out as a duo, with me playing lead guitar over my BIAB home made backings, quite a few people commented that its nice to see someone actually playing REAL guitar over backings, as so many guitarists tend to strum along with full 18 piece orchestral backing, a musician friend of mine told me some time ago to 'KEEP IT ORGANIC' that made a lot of sense to me, so i took it one stage further, i now feature a bit of steel in the duo, and the punters absolutely love it, its a real feature, just on a few songs, as im co fronting and singing, and i cant do that sat at a steel, but it works well, people in lounge bars, which have [so called] one man bands or duo's are not used to seeing or hearing live steel guitar, and its always a topic of conversation, people are very curious about our instrument,

Nice one Eddie, I had a bit of a job convincing my girlfriend that the cases would've been empty,so the disclaimer did the job. As for me and I'm sure others that read your threads your humour is up there with the best of them, here's to you lad. Baz.

Come on boys, I'd just talked Barbara into carrying my stuff, and you've let the cat out the bag. Shame on you.
