welcome back Ken, good to read your post, BUT ! you had warnings before hand ! so it should act as a lesson to the rest of us, take action sooner, in fairness i would have done the same as you, and battled on thinking it will get better, but im just glad the paramedics did their stuff, they really are unsung heroes in our society, glad your ok, and with a few weeks of having time on your hands, hope to see you posting even more regulary, glad your ok !

Great news and a speedy recovery Ken although we havent met yet.Im also a Saints football Fan and promotion is fab.(im sure the celebrations were mighty that night)Ive been to Southampton numerous times and love the city.I hope to get over for the Boat Show there in Sept so might get to see you at a gig.Good Health ;)

Steady away Ken, hope you start feeling better soon. I think the recovery process with this type of thing takes time and, unfortunately, patience to stay put until you're properly on the mend. All the best.

Thanks for all the comments and concern. I am getting stronger by the day, and yesterday took the dog and the wife for a short walk in the woods. My right leg is still tender around the thigh but the bruising which runs from my waist to the knee is clearing quickly. I see my GP and the cardiac clinic next week, so should get an idea when I can get back to work.
