some good sound advice from the guys there Ruby, my own advice to you as a newbie would be the above Behringer, at less than 25 quid, brand new, it represents fantastic value, and as you hopefully develop as a player, you can start to look at more expensive options, as your behringer would then go on to become a spare, i too had a bad experience with an electronic pedal [ a hilton] when the cheap chinese power supply supplied with the unit, packed up on me, and left me high and dry on a gig, i never trusted the hilton again, with the flimsy cable trailing across the stage floor, and some guys have complained of too clinical a sound off the hilton, saying the pot pedal gives a warmer, more natural colour, something i agree with, i have never tried a telonics, so cant comment except for the price, lots of good reports, but 400 quid? not for a newbie methinks, and not for me after my experience, just my opinion Ruby, your money and your choice, good luck, Eddie
