If so that is legitimate, and is part of the anti-spam measures we have in place. See
this post for more info. Quite why your computer crashed at the same time is a mystery, perhaps just coincidence or bad timing
Basically, if you are seeing that screen then the CloudFlare network (which is a massive global network which many, many websites use) has detected previous malicious behaviour from the IP address you are using. This means either: -
- A computer on your network (not necessarily yours - for example if you're at work, or an internet cafe) has displayed malicious behaviour recently. This could, as the message says, be an indicator that it is infected as part of a spamming botnet, or
- The IP address you are using was recently used by a spammer. Some ISPs assign new IP addresses quite often, and you might be unlucky enough to have one that was recently owned by a spammer.
If you are presented by this screen then filling it in is the only way to gain access to the site, but you should not ignore what it says. If you always get it then that's a real indication that there's something wrong at your end.
