Postby tonewheelkev » Mon Oct 31, 2011 6:23 pm

Just wondering what thoughts members had on some of the array of tuition materials available out there :?:

Any recommendations, or otherwise :?:

Anything good for sale perhaps...!? 8-)

....Oh...and I DO intend to take some lessons too, and already have some thoughts on that.... :D

Winnie Winston's "pedal steel guitar " has been a mainstay for over 30 years
it's quite complete & will get you runnin' fairly quick
Scotty's " anthology of the pedal steel guitar " is another good one
most anything by Buddy Emmons, Jeff Newman, Herby Wallace, Bruce Bouton, Doug Beaumier, Steve Palousek & Herb Steiner are good too
Paul Franklin & Doug Jernigan's stuff is rather advanced
it all depends your level & what your needs are TK
you can have a look here at my library & get an idea what's out there & available
