Very nicely played. Was it just me or is there a thumping noise on the track. I kept taking my headphones off to see if the wife was moving furniture down stairs. very subtle performance. I think your last note is there john but not loud. Dave

Austin is a great player( yes there is some kind of boom all the way through it!!! ) but yip, he does lower his 9th at the end much sweeter than picking the 10th.

That’s how it’s done. Fill the gaps and compliment the vocal. Austin has been playing from childhood and has great taste as well as super touch and tone.
