Volume Pedal Wanted

Postby Doodlegame » Tue Mar 24, 2026 11:35 pm

Hi all,

In the market for a new volume pedal. Thinking of going for a Lehle 90 after trying a few, but wanted to see what was going here first before I fork out the money for one!

A word of warning. I purchased the new Walrus Canvas Volume Pedal as it has several different swell curves. It proved to be useless as it sucked all the tone and high end much worse than a passive volume pedal so I returned it. It may just have been a faulty product so test before buying one. The Lehle works fine.

Thanks for that advice. I had seen them recently, but I'm just wanting a simple & reliable VP that will hopefully be a one-time investment and not need replacing in a few years' time (and won't need too much faffing)! Hope you managed to get the Canvas sorted....!

I've been using the Lehle 90 for 3-4 years now, works great for me. No tone suck, nice feel and a few adjustable controls. I also bought the fixing bracket which has a swivel on it, so you can adjust the angle. Also being an active device, it doesn't load the pickup, which brings us back to tone suck
