Two more Brethren of the steel guitar fraternity sadly passed away in the last week or so.

I used to have lessons with Bernie at Ken Byng’s back in the 80’s. This is a great shock.

Omg - this is really sad news. I have spent a nice time with Michael and his good lady wife at their home, while visiting my wife's cousin in Hereford. He was a very enthusiastic steel player.

I taught Bernie Tinsley along with Mickey Wrixton and Timmy Pickins for a number of years, with Bernie and Mickey traveling to my place together. Bernie was a dear friend, and I'm shocked to hear of his and Michael Beniams' passing.

Rip gentlemen.
