Fender Stringmasters & Gibson CG-520 for sale

Hi all, I have a number of console steel guitars available that I'd be willing to do deals on - if anyone from the forum is interested I'd be happy to make a forum donation too.

I run a small online store called Gear Konbini, specialising in regular 6 string electrics, basses and steels. I've always got stuff coming in and list on Reverb, Facebook Marketplace (on numerous groups), Gumtree as well as my Instagram page. I'm based in Norwich and am happy for anyone to come and try stuff out, otherwise am happy to ship fully tracked and insured too. Here's a list of my current stock:

1953 Triple 8 - Sunburst - 26" Scale
It has the original tweed case and legs, and the cloth wiring looks all original too. The case is certainly showing it’s age, with areas where the tweed and leather has worn through - but the console itself is in excellent shape with general wear as to be expected from this vintage, and all the electronics working as they should be. The legs have minor wear, but no major pitting or corrosion.

1974 Double 8 - Vintage White - 24.5" Scale
This is one arrived in need of some rewiring work as it was a bit of a mess underneath, but it’s been sorted and is sounding sweet.
Pot code dates it to 1974. I’ve put fresh sets of SIT strings on, C6 on the front neck and E9/13th on the back. There’s a few age-related marks on the body, but overall it’s in great shape. It’s complete with original case and legs, also in good condition.

1950s Gibson Console Grande CG-520
This is an outstanding example and currently the only one up for sale anywhere! Complete with original leather case and legs. It’s in excellent condition and has clearly been very well looked after since it left the Gibson factory some 70+ years ago. All the electronics work perfectly and appear to be completely original. The legs function well and are in great shape, as is the leather case with some scuffs and a small split in the leather in one of the corners. Certainly quite a rare guitar and something a bit different to what you usually see.
