Hello from Greg - a sort of newbie!

Hello All,

It's Greg Holme from London!
I'm not a newbie to the steel guitar as such but I havent used this forum for a very long time and now I want to use it I can't find my login or password or anything!
I'm pretty certain I registered years ago. I even searched for some old posts I might have made - what an idiot, eh? I think it's what's known as a "senior moment" !

Anyway I'm starting again now, so once again - Hello everyone!

Hi Donny,
I'm in South East London.
I've been playing pedal steel for a bit over 10 years, part time whilst working as an architect.
I played with a few quite varied London bands over that time, but sadly ( I guess in common with many others) gigging died a death with the pandemic and I havent really resumed.
I retired from work last December and therefore I want to do more playing, however in the meantime I've been really busy with a building project at home, so not much time sat at the steel as yet!

Whilst I'm not gigging the plan is to learn the C6 neck!
I have a couple of late 70s Sho Buds - a S10 Pro 1 3+4 and a D10 Superpro 8+4
