Albert Lee & Hogans Heroes

Have just noticed that Albert Lee and Hogans Heroes are playing at my local arts centre in Torrington, North Devon in early December. I know it's a long way off but just heads up to anyone living in the South West as I think the tickets will go pretty quick, the gigs there are always well attended, even though it's on a Tuesday. I'm going for tickets tomorrow. If anyone is coming and wants a get together in the afternoon I could ask the guy who runs the place if we could have a room if you like. It's worth a try if anyone's interested. He might say no but equally he might say yes. Anyway, if anyone is coming along it would be great to meet in the pub first for a yak about guitars etc.

That's a great idea. I have emailed Gerry to ask and will let you know what he says. PS, if you google Gerry Hogan, don't go for http://www.gerryhogan.co.uk that's a completely different man!

You won't find a nicer guy than Gerry, a real gentleman and a superb player, have done some courses with Gerry and the late Jeff Newman, and can say he is excellent teacher.Hope you can get it organised, you will really enjoy it.

I second Malcoms comments re Gerry, I've already had one lesson with Gerry earlier in the Year and am planning to organise a second one soon. As Malcolm said Great Guy, Player and teacher. Perhaps if Gerrys up for it, we could get a few of us down there.
