Twin Neck Ormston For Sale on eBay

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to scrape together some money to upgrade to a 10 string so unfortunately am having to sell my old Ormston twin 8. It has served me well so I'll be very sad to see it go, but unfortunately I don't have the money or space to justify having two ! I have no idea what it's worth so the reserve is just set to what I'm prepared to/need to sell it for.

A nice example of '60's British steel building.

I've got one (it was exactly like the one on ebay when I bought it, a twin 8) which I converted to SD 10, 3 + 4.

The undercarriage is very well-engineered, with square cross-shafts, barrel adjusters etc, definately better than the Mavericks and Sidekicks of the same period.

Why don't you just put what you are looking for the guitar price-wise. You may find someone on here that may be interested in buying your guitar. I started off my career on an Ormston, and had it for a couple of years. They had an excellent tone and the finish was first class. If someone didn't want to use it as a pedal steel, it would make a brilliant non-pedal guitar.
