Well said Malcolm, we at least agree on the point where this discussion started. You need hands. Where's Max Bygraves when you need him. Billy will remember him and Bob & Frank & John & Eddie, you need hands to wipe away a tear.

Chris, sorry should have said yes the mb200 it is a bass amp, if you really want to double the weight you carry you can always go for the mb500 (4lbs), I decided against this as I did not want to start carrying a hand barrow to move that extra weight.Incidentally, I am sure most of you know that the Fender Steel King was basically a bass amp with a few tweeks to the EQ, and this was discussed at great length on bOb's forum, with one of the guys responsible for the design, along with Ken Fox's view on how difficult repairs to them were.Anyone interested can search on the forum for greater detail.
MSA Millennium SD1O, GK MB200,Sica 12 and Telonics 15 speakers , Joyo American Sound pre amp, Jay Ganz Straight Ahead 500w class D Amp, Hilton pedal, Peterson tuners,Digitech RP150,Scott Dixon seat/ flight case.

"old gentlemen"
Very delicate terminology Malcolm :? but I spose fairly accurrate.....but think how much I save by not having to go to the gym! My ol Fender takes care of all my excercise requirements and the bedroom sports I indulge in take care of the "toneing up" Sure those masters you saw at Dallas sounded great but do you really think they would have sounded worse playing through a classic twin? I don`t think so.....just MHO.
I do recall Gordon Huntleys sound going downhill when he swapped his Twin Reverb for a Peeeeev (can`t bring myself to say the word) Sure he still sounded great! he was Gordon Huntley but he lost something I reckon, and I think he knew it....but it was too late Sean Tobin had already run off with the twin>>>>>>>> Gordon wanted the latest this and that...what the Americans were useing at the time...I just think ain`t hindsight wonderful :)
