Show Pros in general look like top-drawer guitars. On a par with the ‘new’ MSAs perhaps?

I have both a custom built Show Pro D10 and a top of the range MSA D10 Brad. They are both wonderful instruments. If I was pinned down on how the two of them compare, I would give the edge to the MSA in terms of its engineered design. However, the Show Pro edges it fractionally from a tonal perspective IMHO. The best tone I ever heard at the Dallas Shows by a mile belonged to Mike Johnson when he played his Show Pro on the main stage.

I have toyed with getting another Show Pro with a Cat Can. Much cheaper than the MSA equivalent.

I agree mate, was disheartening when I asked.

Definitely a big advantage having the plug and play capability and only needing 1 guitar at a gig.

That model of Jeff's certainly was way better value than the equivalent MSA guitar that Travis Toy promotes. However, I still wouldn't mind that model of pedal resonator that Jimmie built for you Steven.

Don't get me wrong, loving the Pedabro and it came out cheaper than a Catbro.

Just hoping to get the acoustic pickup a bit louder for stage work. Hopefully the Fishman box will do it. The real thing is much better in the studio tone wise when mic'ed than a sim in my opinion though.

Just gives me an excuse to buy that D10 Show Pro or Push Pull to complete my collection...I'll be finished then for a good 60 years.
