Country 2 Country 2019 Throwback

Postby hickenjr » Thu Jul 23, 2020 8:41 pm

Eyup guys, today we’re going to be having a quick throwback to last year’s Country 2 Country Festival at the 02 Arena London, when I played with Holly Rose Webber.

This video consists of us first arriving on the freezing cold, Saturday morning (R.I.P to my pedal steel tuning). Being backstage, stood on the main stage, and then the highlights of our spots on the pop up stages. My best lead break is at the end of the video so stay tuned.

Hope you are all keeping safe still.

Kind Regards, Steven Hicken Jr.

Really enjoyed the video Steven! Playing C2C is a serious scalp for musicians - congratulations mate and I’m sure there’ll be many more to come for you!

Thanks!

Hopefully you can play it in the next 2 years. Just depends on when we get going again with the pandemic.

There’ll be a lot of pressure to get gigs etc back on mate. I think we’ll have arena gigs back by next year, but perhaps with masks and all that!

Aye mate, for now stay safe!
I've treat this period like a footballing pre-season. I've really sharpened up over the last few months. I identified flaws, mainly theory, and now on with cleaning up my right hand.
