Steelhenge

Postby Tony Russell Davis » Sun Jul 05, 2020 10:42 am

Having a sort out this morning, i.e. going through various guitar cases, tote-bags etc. I found rather more bars than expected. So I measured them, noted that down (where I can loose it, of course) and took this picture of my "Steelhenge".
They represent a collection of many years each bought when I wanted a different length for 6, 7, 8, 10 and eventually 11 strings.
The second left is a 1in BJ that was used all though my gigging days and you can see my Basil-bars that get most use these days. The Pyrex (glass) one is a Sitar bar - with a flat and the two on the right are two (shorter) dobro bars; one is hollow and the other is an S/S steel bought from Jim Kerr (Springfield) who was showing his guitars at Wembley 1980-ish; it still lives in a resonator case for use when I don't have my smallest Ezzeeslide handy.
Oh, and at the top that's Pansey, a 13 year old rescue dog (Dog's Trust) with daily meds for kidney disease - but doing really well and into her second year with us.
