Eight-string PSG wanted.

Postby tony boadle » Fri Apr 10, 2020 9:25 am

Ok, this is the longest of long-shots! I was the proud owner of a Guyatone eight-string PSG until a year or so back. For me, it was the ideal middle-ground between lap-steel and full ten-string. I had to let it go (long story) and have suffered seller's remorse ever since. If anyone has one for sale, any condition, please get in touch!

Tony, i still have the D 8 Conchord if that appeals to you? It is a real classic from 1962 then you will have 16 strings....better than 10?

Thanks for both replies, yes ideally a PSG set-up...but having said that, the shiny red console looks very appealing! Perhaps a long weekend of deep thought here would be in order.

Well, that shiny red console finally found it's way to County Cork. I'm the proud and delighted new owner, many thanks to Tony Russell Davis for his kindness and consideration over the past few weeks. It truly is, as described, a fine guitar.
Now, all I need to do is work out how to delete my original ad......
