Thanks Malcolm.. I should have checked that on the TCA 500 specs. Yes the TSNEO is rated at 300W Constant and 500W peak.

"The TSNEO speaker is capable of being driven at a constant 300 Watts. At a lower average power, it is also capable of being driven up to 500 Watts for short periods."

"High output level available on demand. 500 Watt power amplifier section."

OH darn it....keep forgetting about doubling the impedance! Guess I`ll just stick to 250w in to 4 ohms for now..!!

Ask Mark Dunn Davie, pretty sure it is ok to bridge amp and use with your 15.

Spoke with Mark via email. Definetely not a good idea to run the Telonics 15-4 with a bridged amp. So for now I`ll try the meager 250w from one side of my un-bridged amp, and look for another tweed cab to match the one I`ve bought. Hmmm must be getting old. Never liked tweed before, but now seems like a good idea!! :o :o

Go the whole hog, Davie. Tweed suit, with the leather elbow patches, tweed bunnet and a nice pair of Paw Broon slippers.
That'll be one cosy gig.

You're absolutely right, Donny, our culturally deprived neighbours may be unaware of the wonderful world of The Broons. Puir wee sowells.

Davie, wouldn’t getting a second cab defeat the object of weight saving, there are other alternatives, I personally use the Jay Ganz Straight Ahead 500 watt amp into a single cab, I use an American Sound pedal as pre amp, you could use your Telonics into a similar amp.It also means you could just take rack or pedal bag if you are flying, and just get use of speaker cab at gig or go straight into desk.

Wow! That's an incredibly compact setup, Malcolm.

I ordered one of those American Sound Pedals, after reading your post mentioning it (thanks for the heads up), and then hearing the "Falklands" post put up by Jonathon.
