Hi Simon,
Thanks for your great advice and yes John has been a god send, and he has helped me a great deal. Not many people like him still around and pleased I found him. Anyway looks like I’ve taken my first steps on this adventure so let’s see where it takes me.

Where are you in Yorkshire? The North East steelers meet every three months or so at the Buck Inn, Thornton Watlass, near Bedale.
