As you know John Hughey did a very slow version and Buddy Emmons did it a bit faster. I did it Buddy speed and you are welcome to use my backing track if anyone is interested. You can hear it on my soundcloud page under Mike Hearn. Just need an email if interested.

Hi, can I just confirm that the backing track you sent out Danny, cobbled from Greg Cutshaw's version, is indeed the backing track for next Tuesday. I have already broken 3 strings, two fingers and suffered a dislocation in an area I would rather not expand upon, putting together a version to this backing

Lord Donald sent out a biab version on the 6th August and your name was on the mailing list, a bit slower than Danny's version and no fiddles, check your email box, it's the "sedate" version of the world that most are about to destroy
Broken strings should not be a problem when you have 12 to play with , sorry to hear of your dislocation but that's an occupational hazard with the contraption you are playing , regards the broken fingers yer Maw must have told you it was bad manners to stick them up like that
It is a great tune to play and hats off to our Wullie for choosing it behind " Hunners " back, but he can play Danny's version if it's to slow for his liking, assuming that he is about to honour us with his presence
